How does the Try Before You Buy program work?

Our Try Before You Buy program is offered to customers who are looking to make a decision on what hot tub will suit their needs and budget. We can help answer any questions you have and find a week that works best for your schedule. The Softub will be delivered (Within 25km of our store in Waterloo) on Wednesday and picked up the following Tuesday. A $500 non-refundable deposit by cash or credit card and a copy of photo ID with home address are required. We explain how to operate and maintain the Softub, and customers are always pleasantly surprised how much easier this is than other traditional hot tubs.

If you decide that you would like to keep the Softub, the $500 is credited towards the purchase price and balance is due on Tuesday by Visa, MasterCard, or financing by TD Financial Services. If you decide that you would like to return the Softub, we will arrange to have it picked up and the $500 is used to cover our cost of transportation, supplies used, and the 7 day trial. Customers are responsible for lost items and any tub damage at the time of return.

You must be a minimum age of 25 years old to use this program.

Do you rent Softubs?

We do not offer weekly or weekend rentals of Softubs. Our Try Before You Buy program is for customers who are trying to make their decision on which Softub model they prefer or if they are trying to make a decision on a Softub vs a traditional hard shell hot tub.

	Smart Chip Softub could easily be called "Smartub" because its Smart Chip can recognize low power situations and shut off your tub before any damage can be done. When it senses a voltage drop it will shut down completely, and when voltage returns to a normal level Smart Chip turns everything back on to the old settings. After a power outage, Smart Chip automatically resets at 100 degrees.		GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit) The Cord-Mounted Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter provides electrical safety. If wiring within the house is not grounded properly, it won't work Plug Into a Standard 120 Outlet All Softub's can be plugged into any standard 120v, 15 Amp outlet!
	Locking Covers All of Softub covers are now equipped with locking straps and built in accordance to ASTM Standards, provided that they are installed properly		Hydromate - Heat without a heater Incredible but true, Softub's stainless steal heat exchanger absorbs the heat from its motor to warm your spa to your desired temperature. In a climate with an average temperature of 18°c, the typical Softub requires only 2kW hours of electricity per day to stay at 104°F and ready for use.

Installation is easy as 1, 2, 3

Installation of a Softub takes under one hour with no special plumping or electrical modifications required.

1. Roll it into your desired location

Simply roll your Softub inside its original packaging to wherever you prefer. If you're trying to get it into a tight spot, the Softub will fit through any standard door and can be squeezed about 6 inches for a really tight spot. Once in your desired location, set the Softub down, place the lid on, adjust straps, and place the Hydromate motor next to the tub.

2. Install the Hydromate motor

Connect the Hydromate motor to your Softub using the hose clamps and connect your hose to the motor. Run for 3-5 minutes to clear the hose.

3. Finish preparation of your tub

You're almost done! Smooth out the wrinkles on the bottom with 1-2 inches of water in the tub, add essential chemicals (e.g Chrlorine or Bromine), continue to fill tub smoothing out any wrinkles, check hose connections for any leaks, install vinyl cover and finally set your tub to the desired temperature.

That's it! Setting up a Softub is incredibly simple and should not take more then one hour (plus some extra time for filling the tub with water.) You can reference your owners manual for full instructions on setting up the Softub.
