This is possible when having adequate technical skills. As a matter of course changing any of the components will invalidate your warranty.
Can Digital 132 be expanded up to 4 lanes?
Digital 132 is dimensioned for 2 lanes. One basic idea behind this digital system is to be able to play with several players on floor space as small as possible.
Do Digital 132 cars also run on analogue race tracks? Are there any restrictions (e.g. Scalextric: digital cars do not have any brake when being operated in the analogue mode)?
Yes, the Digital 132 cars also run on analogue race tracks (Evolution). The new cars do have the same braking characteristics whether being operated in digital or analogue mode. There are no limitations.
How many Ghost Cars does Digital 132 support? May the total number of cars operated exceed 6 cars or not?
Up to a maximum of 8 cars are being supported. This means: 6 active cars + 2 ghost cars or 8 ghost cars.
CARRERA GUARANTEE:
Guarantee coverage for all Carrera products purchased from 2002 onwards, lasts 2 years. You have the possibility within the guaranteed period, to send the defective parts with a copy of your receipt directly to Carrera. The address can be found on the operating instructions of your Carrera race track.
