We just launched a slightly upgraded version of Bigfootsnowshoes.com. The three primary upgrades are:
BigfootSnowshoes.com now uses a secure connection certificate, ensuring every part of your transaction, even your shipping address details is secured and encrypted to prevent eaves-dropping.
We have enabled Credit Card processing and PayPal Express Checkout. You are now able to easily pay without a PayPal account, but still have the choice of using PayPal for quick and easy payments.
When buying from Bigfoot, you can save your information with a username and password, allowing you to easily fetch it again when you come back to buy more!

The new, colourful aluminum snowshoes fly off store shelves and businesses that rent them can barely keep them in stock. In some circles, snowshoes were a hotter commodity this Christmas than the highly-popular Wii video gaming system.”

Carrera posted a news snippet before the holidays on compatibility for Digital 124/132 sets. It states that these will no longer be compatible with Evolution Pro-X and Pro-X starting in 2009. Here’s the full release:
“Starting 2009,all Digital 124/132 items produced will cease to be downwardly compatible with the Carrera Evolution PRO-X and Carrera PRO-X product lines.
Licensing laws have made it impossible for us to maintain compatibility into 2009.
This means Digital 132 and Digital 124 cars (since this year) and Digital 124/132 accessories will no longer be able to be integrated into Evolution PRO-X and Carrera PRO-X systems.
All Digital 132 and 124 car packaging will bear the corresponding information from 2009 onwards. Moreover, starting 2009 packaging for Digital 124/132 will be changed in such a way as to ensure there is no longer a compatibility claim as regards their combination with Evolution PRO-X and PRO-X.
It should be possible to acquire downwardly compatible Digital 132 cars and Digital 124/132 accessories via specialist traders until the middle of 2009.
We will shortly be providing you with information on other sources trading these goods until the middle of 2009.”

Apart from that, our snowshoes have a slightly improved build and we are looking to get more larger sized and smaller sized models coming in for next year.

The Yard Machines snow fox snow thrower is a lighter version of our 1600W – 20 inch Bolton Electric Snow Thrower but still gets the job done on smaller lots, great for people looking for something under the $200 price range.
Go Ferrari is another great addition to the line of Carrera GO!!! series. The Carrera GO sets are a great Christmas gift for the young one as they are generally below $100 and are not as complex as the larger Digital 132 & 124 sets.
