NOW Magazine on e-Bikes

Monday, April 6th, 2009

NOW Magazine from Toronto has a great featurette on e-Bikes (or e-Scooters) going over the advantages and disadvantages of e-Bikes.

Some good take-aways:

  • e-Bikes are easy to use, and extremely environment friendly.
  • e-Bikes are low cost and with no registration or other fees make it easy for someone without a license.
  • Riding an e-Bike might have gotten you off your bicycle, so you may need to find an alternate method of exercise!

New eBike: Veloteq Cavalier RSV-GT

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Want something more stylish to ride this summer? The Cavalier is our newest eBike in the WeSellit lineup. We have a limited stock of these. You can check them out online, or at our Waterloo store.

“Feast your eyes on Cavalier RSV-GT, a beauty to behold. The newly designed built in trunk introduces a whole new look of elegance to the world of power-on-demand electric bicycles. The aerodynamic body design reduces wind drag, increasing the range per system charge.”

A great feature of the eBike

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

eBikes are the latest way to get around town. Fully electric, and not requiring any license or registration, it’s the perfect commuting tool for a large variety of tasks.

The eBike comes with a variety of great features. High and low beam lights, horns, turn signals, alarm and locking system, compartments, and much more

But I have one specific feature that stands out for me as the most fun and useful.

I’m talking about the Cruise control kick in. What this does is when you hit max speed and stay there for a few seconds, you will feel your eBike kick into a cruise control. This does two great things:

  • Allows you to stay at the same constant top speed without the need to hold throttle
  • Saves battery life! Cruise control uses the power of the eBikes own momentum to not use as much battery as you would going up a hill or in stop-and-go traffic. For longer trips, this just makes the eBike that much more enjoyable and re-assuring to ride.

The cruise control kick-in is available on all the eBikes we have available. Make sure to view our eBike selection and if you are interested in seeing more, come down to our store for a free test ride!
